【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforinjectionmouldedpipefittingsmadefromacrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene(ABS)polymer,forsolventweldingtoABSpressurepipeconformingtoBS5391-1:2006.ThisBritishStandardisapplicable,forexample,tofittingsintendedtobeusedfor:a)chemicalplants;b)industrialsewerageengineering;c)powerengineering(coolingandgeneral-purposewatersupply);d)electroplatingandpicklingplants;e)thesemiconductorindustry;f)agriculturalproductionplants;g)watertreatment;h)potablewatersupply;i)lowtemperatureapplicationsdowntop40°C.NOTEPipefittingsconformingtothisstandardcanbeusedforthetransportofwaterintendedforhumanconsumptionifitconformstotherelevantnational,regionalorlocalregulatoryprovisionsapplicableintheplaceofuse.ForproductsintheUnitedKingdom,attentionisdrawntoTheWaterSupply(WaterFittings)Regulations1999[1].
